    When Ashley was only a child, her mother passes away. Now she is left with her father and two older brothers. To her family, Ashley is a straight A student - to her friends she’s completely different.




    It all started a few years back, Ashley was the good student, getting all the extra credit she needed, acing every test, pursuing her aspiration of becoming a singer, never letting one toe slip out of line… Then he came along. Everything changed. Ashley stopped turning up to classes, she died her once blonde hair to blue, she started getting tattoos, she left school, everything about her changed. Why? This boy told her he loved her, told her that he would help her become a star, selling out stadiums and that she would have millions of fans from all over the world…. But he lied. After a few months of getting her shitty gigs in bars where drunken men yelled abuse at her, he left and that broke her completely. She left her family and moved into a small flat and returned to school in hope that no one would notice her, that no one would notice that she had left in the first place, but it was the complete opposite, everyone knew and no one would forget what happened. Ashley returned to her studies like nothing had happened but deep down she was broken. She continues to sing and write her own songs, just not in bars. She takes time to go to venues where big acts are playing and plays a small acoustic gig outside for the fans waiting, in hope she might sell a few EPs.
